This past weekend was a trying one for me and I could not understand the source of the frustration and the severe aching in my lower back was coming from. Then feeling like I would collapse very quickly lay down and no sooner my head was on the pillow immediately knew I was engaged in intense warfare for standing before me was two very tall women looking at me while conferring with each other and to my dismay these two women were familiar to me which reminded me of a dream of a few years ago, while sleeping was awakened by an eerie gaze; there stood a familiar woman standing in my bedroom on the side of my closet door. Immediately I sat up in the bed and asked her, “What are doing in my room?” The familiar woman held her two hands towards me and said, “I’m just watching you.” I stood on my feet and said to the woman, “Get out of my room!” The familiar woman simply refused to go so I pushed her out of my bedroom and as I was about to open the front door to get her out of the house, the woman did a U – Turn and fled down the hallway of the house. I awakened and looked at the clock, it was 6 am. This dream left me stunned for about an hour, cried out to Abba Father, “What is the meaning of this dream?” Abba, Father replied, “That is a familiar spirit.” After praying forgot all about the dream; what I experienced with the two familiar women caused me to do some research on familiar spirits taken from Dr. N Cindy Trimm Book entitled Binding the Strongman. “Familiar spirits are demonic agents whose main assignment is to become well acquainted with a person or groups of persons. These spirits are responsible for satanic surveillance, diabolical reconnaissance, and vigilante activities. They are spirits 

with assignments emanating from highly developed and complex satanic operation destroyed to kill, steal, and destroy. Familiar spirits know your “hot spots.” They know which buttons to push. They know your weaknesses, strengths, dislikes, likes, passions, pet peeves, what gets you going, what upsets you, what distracts you, your desires, your ambitions, everything.” ‘I can imagine them reporting to Satanic councils, bringing to the table information that would be utilized in the designing of attacks and strongholds, and the creating of weapons of mass destructions designed to kill, steal and destroy individuals, families, ministries, purposes, communities and nations.” With the two familiar women still standing before me, I got up and stood upon my feet but felt really dizzy, just then the Word spoke from the book of Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.” Immediately the dizziness vanished and so did the two familiar women. The Word reminded me of Isaiah 59: 19 “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” 

These two familiar women sure was pushing all my buttons it was as if I was being harassed and severely afflicted all at the same time……. giving Abba, Father thanks for divine intervention! The two familiar women had grudgingly left but I felt really exhausted……. Suddenly I experienced a shift in the atmosphere of my home and the battle that was against me turned in my Favour which had completely shut down the two familiar women’s destructive operation –They were exposed! 

Wherever you are on your journey do not allow circumstances and situations to overwhelm you – You are the Victor and not the victim. Get up right now and cry out to Yahweh, the God who, has redeemed you and calls you His own. I had become frustrated and was trusting in my own understanding and became angry but the minute Abba, Father enlightened my dark understanding and allowed me to see the root of the frustration and affliction were not a physical one instead a spiritual one (I had failed in my own strength) once I yielded to His leading the Word won for me the victory! You may be experiencing much difficulty in your home and in your job, do not take matters into your own hands, cry out to Abba, Father He will hear your heart cry and come to your rescue and reveal to you the root cause of your distressing situations. For me God delivered me from the two familiar women. Could it be though, that Yahweh is calling you (me too) away from the familiar to step into all He has destined for your life?
